This pendant is built on contrast — a calm circular silhouette holding an intense inner landscape. The enamel surface crystallized during firing, forming sharp, needle-like structures that radiate in multiple directions. The result is not a smooth glaze but a textured field that feels alive. Emerald green dominates, shifting into deep teal and flashes of blue beneath the surface. Small golden areas appear where the glass thinned and reacted with the copper during high-temperature firing. The crystalline growth creates depth, as if looking into a mineral formation suspended in glass. Light does not simply reflect — it travels along the ridges, catches in the angular facets, and settles in darker pockets. The reverse side remains oxidized and raw, preserving the material origin beneath the luminous enamel layer.
