This piece is built on restraint. A clean white enamel surface forms a calm, almost porcelain-like background. At its center, a raised red shape flows vertically — asymmetrical, slightly curved, and intentionally imperfect. The scarlet enamel was applied in a thicker layer, allowing it to soften and round during firing. Its edges remain organic, shaped by heat rather than strict lines. The white field beneath shows subtle speckling and gentle transitions where the glass met oxidized copper at the rim. The composition relies on contrast: white against red, smooth field against tactile relief, silence against gesture. The oxidized copper edge frames the piece quietly, grounding the brightness of the enamel. The reverse side remains raw and patinated.
