This pendant explores contrast through structure. The circular form is intersected by subtle copper lines, dividing the surface into measured segments. A central open ring introduces negative space, allowing light and background to become part of the composition. The enamel surface shifts between warm ochre and amber tones and cooler turquoise accents. A raised glass dome sits in one quadrant, smooth and luminous, while smaller turquoise droplets punctuate the surface like mineral deposits. During firing, the glass softened and pooled, creating gentle transitions and natural textures against the oxidized copper. The balance between solid and void, matte and gloss, warmth and coolness gives the piece a quiet strength. When worn, the circular shape rests evenly on the chest, its geometry softened by the organic behavior of enamel under heat.
