Aurora Fragments captures the fleeting beauty of light moving across a dark sky. The lower rectangular panels are layered with deep blues, crimson reds, touches of gold and hints of emerald — each firing creating organic transitions and unexpected textures within the enamel. No two surfaces are ever identical. The molten glass flows freely during firing, forming natural gradients, subtle bubbles, and painterly streaks that give the piece its dynamic character. Above, the hand-textured copper discs add earthy balance — their rain-like relief contrasting with the luminous glass below. The raw oxidized back reveals the honest materiality of copper, reinforcing the handcrafted nature of the design.
